. On Sunday 15 May 2022 various sources confirmed to Daily Sun that the multi-award-winning gospel singer Deborah Fraser 56 has passed away. The family issued a statement informing the public of her death. She was born in Saugus on December 3 1959.

The actual cause of her death has not been revealed yet but in the statement her family wrote she died following a short illness. It is with deep sadness to inform you of the passing of our beloved mother sister aunt and friend and Gospel musician Dr. Fraser passed away surrounded by her family and friends at her own residence.

She was not doing well and as a result was unable to walk any more. The family said in a statement on social media that the legendary gospel singer died on Sunday after battling a short illness. The news of her passing came in on Sunday afternoon.
